There is also a Bedlem site off the A8000, It's supposed to be a really good venue (size and type of terrain etc.)
I will get more details off my mate as he has been there before.

We could have our own version, I've an air-rifle and I'll dip the pellets in dulux, we can take turns running the gauntlet.:D
There's a place in Fife (I think) where the TA, Army, SAS (or something like that ) train. Its outdoor forrest and they also use paint grenades :nod: :nod:

Theres one in drymen ive been to before which was good though it was orginised badly and the marshells would shoot you if they caught u cheating which isnt fun.

They offer a laser game which would eliminate the agony you go through playing paintball.

its now booked for the 6th march, and there are only 3 places left.
Martin will almost definately be taking one of them, as will brian, so one left realistically, plus maybe a couple of spares for drop outs.

Not entirely sure tbh, cos it wasnt me that organised it totally.
what i do know for defo is that its costing £18, (which ive already payed btw, so monies asap please guys) each.
and that is ur day there plus 100 paintballs each.
U can buy more at £6 per 100, or £5 per 100 if bought in bulk, on the day.
Infact i think this is the total cost guys, ill confirm with me mate :)
starts at 9:15am and a barbq is available for an extra £3.85 each

nah jonny fire in, i was jsut going to make the numbers up so martin/kev wernt stuck, ive done it before and its ****ing agony , so thats on the back of my mind, plus im not the easiest person to camoflage in the world so i genarly end up getting shot about 210% more than most people.

Brian, never actually played CS online, just played training missions against CPU and against my mate via a nul-modem cable yonks ago..... wouls deffo like to give it a try tho' if you can suffer a newbie :D .

There are no gloves provided am afraid Jonny. You can buy them there which cost £15 :eek: If you have cycling gloves or fingerless ones take them with you. I would also take a hat to procect your bonce as it hurts a bit when you get hit in the head 5 times in a row!!

There was an indoor paintball venue I did down south once...... we were all gettin ovied up to play an one of the guys whips out an american football plastic armour set for his upper body, front and back................. oh how I mocked him :D
Then someone shot me at point blank range right on the tit :cry: (cheers bruv :rolleyes: ) - don't think I've ever experienced so much pain, shoulda seen the BFO bruise.

was great fun and wasnt as sore as i expected apart from the one that hit the back of my neck (own team too :( )
i of course was the model of good behaviour and showed the rest of the sxoc'ers and the pub staff what to do:)

i got banned for argueing with the arsehole, sorry manager about the shitty fcuking visor steaming up so much i couldnt see.
and so i removed it to clean it and he starts shouting like a fanny.
this happened bout 5 times throughout the day.
oh and i reckon between us all we spent bout a grand anyway, and were treaded like fcuking 2 year olds.
piss up in a brewery springs top mind.

TBH, I didn't think the day was that badly organised.... some of the Marshals were a bit dumb-ass but overall t'was OK.
My visor steamed up badly the first game then I asked one of the smarter marshals (IQ of 88 :p )how to resolve it. He told me how to smear the blue stuff inside to stop it steaming up again. I did have to repeat this every game but it worked pretty good.
I can see why he has to give people a bollocking for removing masks in the live fire zone tho'...... c'mon you remember what happened to poor old PJ, "why aye man, ah've been shot in tha face with a paintball an' gone blind!!!! When ah catch tha poofta ahm gonna make 'im listen to PJ an' Duncan's greatest hits all day"!!!! :wack: :eek:
