unleaded or superunleaded

Can anyone tell me if my car will run better on unleaded or superunleaded.also is there anyway of stopping noise from boot as it seems very loud when it is raining .

According to the Manual ,the car is meant to use an octane of 97 RON, super is closer than standard unleaded.

I've always run mine on standard unleaded and never had any problems.

Try some dynomat or brown bread for insulation in the boot. Some people have complained about noise but I've personally never noticed it.

Nah, nor me. It ain't a loud car really. Road and wind noise is louder than the standard exhaust and intake, but there's a simple way to solve this problem http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

I didnt notice any performance increase in using superunleaded, but I did get more popping and cracking on the overrun when using it.

Plus you should get less detonation with higher boost with super.

Super unleaded will make the cylinder temps lower and will help keep your valves in good condition, I have to use super because I would get pinking if I didn't and the car is gutless on normal unleaded.

I would use super if I were you, especailly if your modding your car.
