Anyone know where the "activator" for the boot light is located.
Me bulb is OK ,the light isn't working and I can't spot the damn thing!

I dont know exactly wher it is but I remember last year when I was putting my ICE in I was contemplating moving mine. I seem to remember being in the boot with the lid shut and the light was on. (I got in through the split seats by the way and wasnt trapped!) Maybe the light is on when the ignition is on or one of the doors is open?? 1995 S14, ND boost actuator, NGK cold plugs, K&N cone, Bailey DV26 Evo piston dump valve, CAI Boost gauge.
Have a look at the lower "lip" of the boot- the bit that the bags of shopping bang on, in the middle you'll see a group of brass copper contacts. These connect to a sprung contact on the boot lid and switch the light on or off.
A few of you may have noticed my huge error above. I was of course refering to a mk 2 Vauxhall Astra.
