I called in at Reg Vardy today (Wed.) while out working, (wasn't in my car) Spoke to the guy at the service desk about my 'whistle', and found him very helpful. Invited me to bring the car over after work, and said someone would have a listen.
I've got to say that they look a bit more promising than where I bought the car. I'm just hoping that the extended warranty that I bought can be used at Vardys, assuming they agree that there is a problem.
The upshot is that I am taking the car over after work on Thursday (20th), and should be there about 16:30ish. If you fancy a quick chat and noise comparison before I go in, then I'll c u there.
If you can't make it, don't worry, I'm hopeful that I won't have any problems.
