Fuel cut out thingy

Just wanna find out as much as I can, coz when I crank up the old boosty..it only revs to a puny 4500rpm (gets there in the blink of an eye in every gear) but I dont wanna pop the motor...
Any comments info etc etc experiances (cars only please) wanted...

Lets find out ways around it cheeply!!!

You could buy an HKS FCD. This will allow you to adjust the fuel cut point. Best not to do it without sorting out your fuelling though.

Out of interest how much boost have you set it to run at? Fuel Cut is around 19PSI I've been told.

Running at around 14psi at the mo as 15 and above causes funny noises from the front of the car. Difficult to discribe, nearest is an old ford escort with timeing out sort of a clicking noise but not a nock. Worries me a bit so that why I dropped back to 14psi.

Could it be pinking? Fuel cut will show itself as a very sudden loss of power (as the ECU attempts to save the engine!). I would at a guess, suggest getting some sort of fuel computer fitted and having it rolling road tuned.

Sorted, timing problem runs better and pull smother. Seemed to have a flat spot before thats gone too.

Now running 17PSI again and snaped three necks already....its just great inut chaps?
