I heard anything above 900 degrees is bad and is a sign of a lean mixture.

980 rings a bell with me as well. Oh well, probably better to keep it below 900 if possible, and not to under any circumstances let it go above 980! Or something will melt..

My EGT gauge shows near 900 when the rev below 5000, is that normal? Because from I think if the rev gose over 6000 then the temp will be over 900, can anyone help?

I don't think it should be reading that high during normal driving. I would expect it to go near 900 during an all out maximum speed effort.
I'm sure someone can make some suggestions. What is the spec of your car?

I have a S14 auto, I got blize air filter, HKS dump valve, HKS super dragger, and the turbo is running 0.8 bar. Could it be the installation problem or something wrong with the engin?
