Came back from France Saturday evening, waiting to get on the ferry as the cars were coming off herd a lot of horn blowing and wheel spinning, thought I'd better get out the car and take a look and it was some of the cars taking part in the Cannonball Europe rally.
Some really nice motors two very nice Skylines, TVR's, Porches, Astons,Supras the last one off was

a Skoda Activa:eek:

Latest reports from Tim Porter are that he is 170 miles from Al d' Gez where they will be crossing to Africa. 1018 miles had been clocked up at 10.20am UK Time. The Vanishing Point Supra also was invited to stop by the Spanish Police, but decided against the idea and outrun two Patrol cars...!

can you not lose your liscence for speeding in europe then?

They can't take your license off you if it was issued in another country, they can however, throw you in jail if they want to :eek:

my uncle got invited to the gumball rally :smash:
will cost him £10k if he wanted to go
£2k of it for fines :D
£5k for hotels
£2k to get in, invite only
£1k for petrol
+ some more if you want to sample the local culture :smash:

It only costs £2k for an extra passenger; to enter a caar, driver and passenger in the gumball rally is over £8k iirc.
