Take the Philosophical Health Check (http://www.philosophers.co.uk/games/check.htm) to find out.

Worst result I've seen was over 50% tension, but the poor guy was a recovering Jehovah's Witness :D

Tension Quotient Score Tension Quotient = 60%

The average player of this activity to date has a Tension Quotient of 29%.

what a crock of shite!
the questions are loaded as are the answers.
basically, it could be torn apart with a decent argument over semantics.

Just a bit of fun mate (or not).

I contacted the editor about a couple of issues and he said something along the lines of "yeah well, shoot me ya fekker" :D

Just about everything can be torn apart with an argument over semantics, including the will to live ;)

indeed

the point is presented over one of the questions to do with genocide and the other than the notion of evil is culture specific.

I don't think Hitler thought that genocide was evil, but I do. Two different cultures two answers

and the question about genocide was obviously answered not from an objective viewpoint but from a cultural one. hole one!

If we assume that the test tells us anything at all, which is currently contested :D

Then this result shows your beliefs are fairly consistent. It doesn't tell us whether they are good, useful, worthwhile or even intelligible beliefs. But at least they are consistent(ish). ;)

I'm gonna regret starting this  :wack: :smash:

My beliefs as far as that goes are.

get high without being told off, god doesn't exist, some people are expendable, and killing loads of people is wrong.

Perfectly good, useful, worthwhile and intelligible, my friend. :)

13% is good as it means fewer of your answers contradict others.

I got 15%.

Exactly, indeed that was one of the points I tried to beat them up about.

Excellent  especially like the getting high and no god bits :D

I tend to say I don't have any beliefs at all, just ideas and opinions subject to revision, but that's merely a semantic dodge to avoid getting roped into the dogma/ideology mob. Belief is for the credulous ;)
