We've finally got round to ditching the completely knackered Black Diamond front discs from our S13. They were completely knackered with a GAINT crack running through one of them. Pics to follow.

Anyways, we found some 18" dark finished rims in stock with a supplier (Team Dynamics Motorsports) and so ordered them yesterday and set about fitting the brakes last night so we could test fit a rim over the brakes to make sure theyd fit.

I finished fitting the brakes today just to find Team Dynamis didnt actually have the rims ready to go and that they need drilling out to an S13 stud pattern so we wont get them until next week. In the mean time our S13 is up in the air with not a chance in hell of getting the original rims back on because of the big ass brakes :annoyed:

Hey ho, such is life

I dont think my mums so care free though, the cars on her drive where we were doing the work!! LOL :D Good job shes understanding  :D

I also managed to fit a catch tank and change the oil so the S13s nearly ready for Anns first track day. We've got the S13 and the S14 booked in for a day at Elvington on the 4th of Oct. Should be fun :)

If you're deperate to move the S13 you can take a loan of my 17s till you get your 18's. I'd imagine that the 17's should clear the brakes.

My brake kit is designed to move the calipers inboard to help with wheel clearance ;)

Im not just a pretty face you know :D

But we still need to check the rims will fit which is why we started fitting the brakes before the wheels arrived, so we could try the wheels as soon as they arrived and then set about getting rubber for them.
