Well ... just bought this in Tesco. It's been ages since I've bought a CD and I haven't heard them since "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog flavoured water" came out.

WOW!

Track 1 - bizarre intro :D
Track 2 - Nothing like their old style (by this I mean Chocolate starfish etc), kinda heavy rock / death metal touches and it's really very good!
Track 3 - Back to the Limp Bizkit we all know and love/hate, sounds good so far.

Havent listened to any others yet. I was pleasantly suprised!

nice one mate:D

i remember i first saw them when they supported Korn years ago before their first album came out, and i wiated like 6 months before 3 dollar bill was released, nothing could replace that album and it all went a bit commercial towards the end so anything back to thier roots is deffo a plus:thumbs:

3 Dollar bill was a good album but i cant bring myself to listen to it after their big "sell out" albums afterwards :(

Just hate the cacky american overkill "hey yeah yeah!!" after every bloody verse  It sorta rubbed off on a lot of the bands from the same genre too - especially the supposed "nu metal" bands.

Nu metal when it was "Nu" in 1994ish was bloody good, now its nothing but overdramatised POP

Their current single sounds a lot like the old style Three Dollar Bills stuff. I hope the rest of the album is the same and less 'I'm Fred Durst king of the world'.

I may pop out to the shops :D

Yup..... Machine Head are supposed to be nu metal, s'posse Korn too, all the rest, like Linking Park etc are more like Pop Rock imo!

I hate Fred Durst until his Eat you alive track. Didn't realise the album was out, but will buy it just for that track

I'm on track 6, it's been pretty insipid so far. Eat you alive is a quality tune though.

You get a lot for your money though, it was getting to the point when it seemed like evey album had to be 45 or les mins long

Just had a listen to that Limp Bizkit single - hmmmmmmmmm sounds very much like an uninspired piece of thrash rock to me. Perhaps after selling out, blending hip-hop and acting like a WWE beer bellied wrestler, Fred has decided to make music that wont sell anymore??? Don't like, unfortunately, but thats just my taste....
