while trying to download the sxoc newsletter
a box keeps appearing saying....

"unable to load graphics convertion filter"
:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

WTF is that all about..:confused: :confused: :confused:
cant see the newsletter:cry: :cry:
im on windows xp pro
so can any of you geeks I mean computer wizzes help:thumbs:

have you installed M$ word or an office program at all, sounds like you are trying to view the newsletter through wordpad...

its a brand new computer
and i have not installed anything yet,
(got office 2000 on the way)

if you only have windows xp as part of the bundle it will have wordpad, which is a basic word processing package, it misses some of the filters that fully featured packages possess. If office is taking a while to get to you :rolleyes: you might want to get something like word viewer:

m$ download site (http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/wd97vwr32.aspx)

I'm probably going to regret asking this but.... Where exactly is the newsletter. Thought it might be on the main page under 'news' but it's not. Probably in big red letters on the board somewhere!:wack:
