5 hour drive

or

Longer ferry trip but your less than 2 hours from lemans the other side :clap:

Normal way we go.
Fuel = £140 Both ways + £130 for euro tunnel = £270

Portsmouth to Caen
Fuel = £50 both ways + £260 = £310

Half tempted myself for the extra £40 seeing as i have just thought of something else. The tolls road costs will be much much less with the caen ferry.

I'm pretty sure this is the route that I took with Colwell, ABT, Scolding and Co the first year I went. I'm happy to do it. But TBH the drive is part of the fun, especially as Ken and I are taking the 200s :nod: :thumbs:

Me and Jamie did Portsmouth > Le Havre last year. Much easier for us Welsh and west country folk and worked out cheaper. :nod:

Dunkirk, about 10 minutes up the road from Calais, and crossings are about £30!

Plus, driving is better than flaoting!
