An S2000 with a knackered engine has come in as a new project for DriftGarage.

Firstly the old knackered F20 had to be removed:

One of the mounts was a bit seized:

Plenty of room for an SR20?

Then the test fitting of the SR20DET:

All updates going on the Driftgarage blog here: DriftGarage | Nissan 200SX and Skyline Road, Drift and Race preparation (http://www.driftgarage.co.uk)
and of course on facebook:

Been busy today chopping away clearance so the engine and box can be fitted as one unit, then lining up the unit so mounts can be made up. This is the worst bit for me, such a pain in the arse. Anyway, I have the engine mount brackets buzzed together and will be making jigs tomorrow so I can make some proper ones up. I used a test engine and box I have, as it has no exhaust manifold on it. I want to be sure that the turbo and manifold can be replaced with the engine in situ.

Massive thanks to Brian who made the other one for some good advice on this conversion. He had his one out last night and even at 0.8 bar is plenty of fun
More updates to hopefully follow tomorrow, where more work will be done to get the SR20 mounts made.
