Sneak Peak! Mazworx SR to Z33 transmission conversion

We have been working on a complete transmission adapter kit for the SR to Z33 (350Z) 6 spd transmission. Its in the final stages of r/d and will go into production soon.

It will be slightly more than our current SR-VG kit as it requires a bit more to make it work, including a shifter bracket that will be made out of full billet aluminum.

Could you do half a kit? as the mount and prop I won't need I didn't realise it was a full fitting kit :)

There's 9 second drag Z33s in the US on the standard box. Can't see many people surpassing the box limits with an SR unless they've thrown silly money into it.

Chap on the owners forum tracks his on Slicks and has 600 BHP @ hubs, box still stock.

Early boxes are known for syncro issues and this was addressed on the 03 onwards boxes

This does seem very interesting. What are the gear ratio's compared to an s14 box. I have an s14a with auto diff. I love the short gearing. But would love 5th to be taller for cruising. Soba 6 speed box might be the answer :)

Update:

This is virtually the best we can get a standard Z33 shifter to sit in the factory tunnel. It will still require a little bit of notching but not much. We have shorten the shifter bracket and striker rod as much as possible.
