Right, been reading, comparing, analysing and evaluating......

Seems my other choice (Gilera DNA 125) - although it looks nice - is flawed in quite a few areas.

Seems the Gilera Runner 125 (2-stroke) on the other hand, receives nothing but praise. Slightly cheaper too.

From reading loads (and loads) of reviews i've yet to hear anything bad about them. Apparently, from what i read it would actually give my ***** a run for its money 0-60!!   Everyone reckons approx 6-7 secs.   AND they'll do (depending who you listen to  ) anywhere between 60-100mpg!!!     - Dave_S: "Stick that in yer pipe son!!" ;) :p :D

So, my point, anyone had/ridden one? At all?

Ta. Jim. :)

hi man

whatever you do dont go for the DNA absolute garbage in my opinion.

ive been in the bike industry for the past 4 years both selling and repairing. go for the runner everytime mate for one its a better looing scooter, it holds its value more, there are more tuning parts available, plus it a cooter the DNA isn't anything its trying to be a motorcylce when its not.

your right when you say they are flawed, ive had several in for repair sometime warranty sometimes not. the typical things are:

electrical problems, harnesses burning out
pistons blowing up
conrods failing
bearings collapsing

one customer (not one of mine) brought his back 13 times to the dealer within 6 months in ths time the topend was replaced 4 times and this is a std bike whose rider is 30 years of age, neadless to say :furious:

GO FOR THE RUNNER

if you need any more info just Pm me
