I.e. to go where the vid goes :indiff:

Ive been looking at some for me old man and it seems panasonic do a pretty reasonable priced one. Anyone got one or any comments to make? panasonic uses dvd-r and dvd-ram.

A security guy at a company i did work for used to copy films in his spare time while doing nothing and flog them on ebay.

He had 2 DVD writers.

Both were pretty good, he said the cheaper one (cost him about £300) was better than the more expensive one.

Not sure what makes they were but he must have bought the cheaper one no more than 6 months ago.

he used to speak to me to see what i thought.

He used to make so much money copying films from the far east, selling them with jackets on ebay for £10.

Now the films are a little cheaper and easier to get hold of ala Emule/Donkey etc..

Nutter.

He also "borrowed" the companies digital projector and a few pc's

Nice bloke :D

We bought one a couple of weeks ago. Nothing fancy as we have the PC to do most of it. Been pleased with it so far. So easy to use.

Bought a Philips DVDR 880. Obviously there are more expensive ones that do more, but we don't need that as we have the PC to do it on. Plus reading through reviews, it came out really well.

Yes it is a dvd recorder.
