We brought an open license from Software warehousre about 2 years ago.
we got some more stuff from them who had now been taken over by jungle.com this was about 4 months after initial purchase.
we've come now to wanting to buy some more licenses. Jungle has been brought by Argos! so call up argos guy i speak to there says not sure he'll try to find out, puts me on hold, i get pushed thru to some woman who says that she doesn't think so but will check, but on hold, she comes back and says we don't do it any more. i ask for jungles number the number she gioves me is a direct dial to an office that has nothing to do with it at all. this new lady in the new office says she'll put me thru to switch board to get a number, number she gives me first message says:
"due to unforseen circumstances we are unable to take your call, please call again later"
i call 10 mins later
"due to an emergancy situation we have had to evacuate the building please call again later"
WTF?? is this justa crazy run around or has this actually happened. anyway to the point. does anyone know where our companuy can buy a couple new licenses on our current open license and how much it will be. cuz everywhere i've looked is all educational and academic!
One company that i asked said it was £320 per licence for Office Xp Pro!!! i mean shite, i can buy that OEM for £199 + vat anyway regardless of open licence or not. anyone any ideas?
