Right, its probably come up before, but ive searched and i canny find it.

I was away from my inbox for about 4 days or so and i come back to nearly 500 emails. All bar a few are spams.

They just seem to be multiplying. And the reject list is pointless.

Anyone got any solutions? - preferably free too. :D

Change email address and don't give it to anyone but people you want to use it.

A lot of people have a hotmail address they use for generic crap when visiting sites that require and email for access.

Don't sign up for anything with your new email and don't reply to any spam with it, a lot of the time they don't recognise your returned mail as a request not to be contacted rather it's just picked up as a flag that you replied then they start sending more and handing your address about.

Does any of that make sense:confused: :)

If you're on POP3 try this (http://www.mailwasher.net) . I've not used myself, but quite a few mates have & reckon it's the dogs.
