Yup, jealous.. But I´m easing the waiting with my newly bought wakeboard when the temperature outside is 30 degrees C, water in the ocean is up to 25C and sun is shining like never before!

if only me and my mates could all afford to go to the US we would, everyone says its ace, until then anywhere with snow will do us :)

:D:D Trust me guys, any snow you get in the US or Europe will be better than the snow in Australia. But we DID get four feet of fresh powder the night we arrived and it is local(ish) for me, so I can't complain. Going OS is a bit silly ATM given our weak dollar, so local is good.

Drove my dads AWD Subaru Liberty Outback (through the dumping snow) and it performed admiriably. Very smooth car with no issues with the ice or snow. And no chains yay :)

Nicely we like everyone over here ;)

And we like you too:D

I would have to recommend Mt Hood in Oregon for good year round boarding. Its cheaper than a lot of places around too, plus its about a half hour drive from my Dads house. Piancavallo will be my new home this winter, I will keep my board in the car and go after work, I cant wait.

Yeah no kidding :) 4WD, ABS, Traction control. Was a piece of cake, even for people like us with relatively limited snow-driving experience.

It was a lovely winding road though - the sx would lurve it in the summer. But seven hours is a bit too far to go simply for a drive... :)
