 Very nice finish, hope it lasts a while!

Whats it called? I didnt see it while I was there, would you say that its better than Autoglym super resin?

:)

It was called Benson's show shine or something like that. Havent got the bottle near me.

It did feel like it would last whilst polishing off.

You can't really compare it to "Super Resin " as thats a light cutting compound as well. It's definately on par with "Extra gloss protection" though!!

plus the benefit of no dust = Happy Dave :D

Sounds good is it available in shops?

Got some super resin left so thats all I am using at the moment, looks good to me and have yet to try the extra gloss since I was too knackered to care after washing, t-cutting my whole car, removing tar spots, polishing the glass and then applying the super res all in one afternoon/evening.

Should have seen the state of my paint before hand though, hadnt been washed for years byt the previous owner and tons of small scratches.

Well compared to the price we paid at Billing which was £10 for 1 litre of polish and some other goodies chucked in for free (screen wash, car wash (also quite good!!) and some interior cleaner).

But £13 for 1 litre of polish is VERY cheap compared to Autoglym etc :)

True. Just realised I was looking at the £35 kit that has all the products in. Which one did you get?

Well technically I got the top one but minus the sponge and cloths etc.

I got for £10 ...

1l Show and shine polish
small bottle of screen wash (whatever size it shows there (250ml???))
small bottle of car wash (whatever size it shows there (250ml???))
small bottle of interior cleaner (whatever size it shows there (250ml???))

Very good value. I'd just get the polish and car wash or not even that if you don't need it :)

Ooooh ooooh ooooh just found out another great thing about this stuff,

I spent a while washing and polishing the car yesteday (as you know) and then what happened last night?? it bloody rained whilst I was at work didn't it :(

Great thinks I, water marks all over my lovely shiny car :( . Put it in the garage overnight and took it out this morning and what do I find ....

Car is STILL as shiny as when I polished it with NO I repeat NO watermarks anywhere!! I couldn't bloody believe it!! :D

So either this really IS the dogs bollocks or I just got lucky somehow :)

no - thats £365 for the Carnuba wax - applied once every 3 months or so... best wax (not polish) by miles... Concours trophies coming out of their ears - a lot of the serious Dubbers use it - I think 12 of 14 concours winners at last years GTI international used Zymol. The stuff is incredible - and goes a long way. I reckon mine'll last three to four years before I've gotta buy some more..

You still swear by this polish? It's getting close to the time of year where I need to start again.
