I've had a really crappy past few days, just a generally unpleasant mood, but alas, I soldiered on.

I left this evening to pick up a friend before going to the Aikido dojo (despite having a strained right shoulder from a heavy landing from a flip last Monday, and a broken right index finger from a fellow Aikidoka standing on it on Sunday.).

The end of my street is at quite the acute angle with the adjoining road when turning into my street, and quite a wide, yet somehow blindish corner when turning left out of my road. With cars parked immediately on the corner, it's usually a case of peek out past the cars, and I've done it myself, but if there are cars coming the other way, you have to wait. even though you've pulled out onto the road already.

I'm sat behind a Primera, who goes. I go too because it's clear. Primera stops, I'm a little slow off the mark and my foot slips on the brake pedal...

What else will my week hold? Who knows.

This close to dusting off my bicycle and giving up driving. Beginning to realise that I don't actually deserve nice things and whatnot. And yes, I'm in a melodramatic crabby mood. Shut up.

The end.

Yeah. am not debating. At worse it's a new bumper and indicator glass. Just more seething at a bad week, is all.

The chap I hit was very nice, asked if I was alright as I did in return to him, his wife and two kids who were in the car. I bent the back of his Primera pretty well for such a low speed impact. Turns out he's the owner of a local coach firm. Simply exchanged details, shake of hands and on our ways we went.

.. Lumberjack song on Paramount Comedy is helping with my mood temporarily :D

Always the optimist:)

D- You do deserve nice things, just be more careful. This is advice from someone who has always had to buy a new car because something happened to his old one.

D, shit happens to all of us. No one was hurt and you're insured, that's the main thing. And if I remember rightly, Mr Nissan is paying your insurance as well so an added bonus. :)

:(

I've been having a lot of shit days over the last year and a half. I've figured it just makes the good days seem better. I mean if you had all good days then it'd actually get dull... and when slightly bad things happen they will feel really bad. When you get used to crap things happening you just shrug it off.

Think happy!
