Had a great time despite the rain on Saturday, I think the key is to just get absolutly shitfaced and rain does'nt matter anymore..... most people seemed to have caught onto that idea ;)

It was great to see all those I've met before, and it was great to meet all those I had'nt :)

Hot tips:
don't go on the waltzers when the gypsies running it are bored, and you've had 8 pints ;)(not me, but 1 of the NightSpirit lot ;)) and don't even bother with the on site pubs there, they are not even funny, it's like an even shitter Butlins in there :D
and certainly don't pile 8 people into RWD diesel turbo people carrier with Paz driving, and go out to Northampton to get kebab's at 2 in the morning :D

Superb weekend, had no problems getting to the camp site and the stand. Everyone attending was well behaved and not a sniff of the "Max Power" types I was dreading to bump into...

I hope everyone got a chance to have a bite from the BBQ, mucho thanks to the SXOC club for paying out for food. Me, KeithC and a few have the "Hungry ***** - stage 2 mods" in mind and we'll probably be bringing it to the TSC and other big SXOC events.

Was nice meeting a lot of people I know on the board I hope when I slipped into drunken stuper I wasn't too rude (sorry AndyF, hope the wine comes out the t-shirt )

Just with the damn rain hadn't come when it did :( Oh well, hurry up global warming :)

As stated above a superb weekend. The rain didn't bother me. Parked the car UNDER the Gazebo and slept in it last night. No noise or nothing. Glad the Charcoal lasted as well as it did. Car drove back much better without the weight in the boot. :D

Had a cracking time this weekend.

I'm just struggling to keep myself awake until 10ish then I'll sleep right through until tomorrow.

I know it sounds twee and most people said it while we were there but.... It was great to meet the people behind these posts and put faces to names.

The 'Hungry *****' was a master peice (even the Skyline owners were impressed:p ) A really well done job by the 6 mad inventors. I was beginning to feel I was on the Atkins diet with bacon for breakfast, burgers for lunch and sauseges for dinner. What a brilliant way to set yourself up for a long nights drinking! (which might have something to do with my Homer Simpson like proportions)

The Gazebo's were a God send, especially on Saturday night. (Jeff I've got yours in the garage I'll bring it to the next conveinient meet) It could have gone horribly wrong if we hadn't had some where to stand around and get drunk:D

The one thing I'll deffinately take to Billing next year (apart from more BHP;) ) is some lighting for the evening's. Smiffad and 206xy deserve huge thanks for the massive gazebo they bropught which housed most of the Scottish guys and girls until the sun came up:rolleyes: (dunc, your 'Spence' story will become an urban legend - I blame the Buckfast:p )

The atmosphere was imensely congenial too, there was no agro (despite several gallons of booze being drunk every few minutes or so) and no late night doughnut antics:( which is obviously for the best.

I look forward to meeting you all again next year (if not before) and on a final note if I have learnt anything this last three days it not to accept crisps from strangers (especially Vez:mad: )

The rain was terrible last night, I had to watch the fireworks through my tent window, occasionally popping my head out to get a glimpse!

Yesterday was ok, as most of the day the rain kept off, then only to downpour at 5 ish...

This morning was a bit icky, having slept int he same clothes i went in! But after a wash and change of clothes it got nice and warm, with a great turn out. Max power didnt steal the show (thank god) with their pocky stall, although good to see the actual chap from their videos was there...

Some mean cars, that skyline was SO loud popping those flames, and the bass coming from that lime green 300ZX was metal, i stuck my head in and it distorted my vision!

Loads of other stuff went on obviously, with some funnies (like the black escort that got shouted at for turning his crappy reggae music up) but it was just nice to be out in the open, with some beers, and lots of car (thumbs up)

Met Steve Carter face to face He didnt quite throw me in the water (didnt give him chance ) and as I say I saw a few others of you busily chatting amonst yourselves!

Top weekend, next years a must (and this time I'll be bringing the baby!)

Had a great time and it was good to meet you all everyone I spoke to :D

Big thanks to the hungry ***** builders and chefs for increasing my weight this weekend (yes it was the burgers and not the beer) and for providing somewhere warm to sit on Saturday night.

It was a shame about the weather because it meant people had to gather in small groups in various gazebos dotted around the place so you only really got to see those who were sharing the same gazebo, although the weather did offer a comic moment from Bren who got wetter tipping the accumulated water off the top of his gazebo than he would have if he'd just stood in the rain. Who'd have thought you could buy a gazebo meant for indoor use only ;)

Well I only popped down on the sunday, but it was good to meet some more of you lot put a few more faces to names. Respect to the guy with the 500bhp 14a  and    for the hungry *****

Next year I'm gonna have to get a tent and sh1t and do the whole weekend, I should at least have the 14 back on the road and looking good

Heres a link to the photos I took today (plus a whole load of my car if you look at the previous pages)

Great weekend, even if the rain did try and dampen our spirits, and beer and food.
Thanks to all of you for making us reprobate Supra owners so welcome, SXOC is possibly the friendliest club on the scene.
Hungry ***** is way too cool, as a result we are going to build our own, into the front end of a Mk3, may use the whole car and put a beer cooler in the boot!
SXOC gets bigger every year at Billing, some really great cars too.
Can't wait until next year, (is it really 12 months until the next one!?)

:D a couple of times Dunc ;)

It was tops meeting everyone I did a big thanks to everyone for organising the event. Hopefully I'll meet the people I missed next time :)

My suggestion for improvement has to be getting one HUGE gazebo that we can all congregate in insted of having loadsa people spread about the place :)

See you next year :D

What a weekend!!, flipping excellent!!. Its good to see so many of the Club turn out (despite the rain). Tarps and Gazebo's turned out to be worthwhile purchases after all. The fireworks were awesome in the rain, and they sent an already wierd shrieker completely round the twist ( I think several people have taken contracts out on it, and the London zoo want it caught alive. ). It was the place to be, with the right people. The hungry ***** with its staggering chefs, one who must be related to Kieth Floyd I,m sure. The Club stand was fantastically oversubscribed on Saturday, even with Paul ejecting the non-members. We found two non 200 cars and a circle of tents on Sat morning , so I put my large erection nearby and they left in a hurry, ( it was ok it was taken down later to make room, but it rose again on Sunday and had three flags hoisted on it)
I appologise to those nearby on Sat night who thought a herd of wild pigs had escaped , but I snore like a bastard after a few beers(even alcyfree). Not to mention the NTOC ( but I will) Ha hahahahahahahahahahhahaahah, but seriously , how can a club have a field to hold 100 cars allocated to them and only have 34 (max) turn up ( the rest were scoobies, a porsche a Ford Ka, and something else possibly an old Audi estate) Either they have a very uninterested membership who cant be arsed to come out and support them or maybe it should be re-titled the any make multi variety club of great britain, The only stand where if you stood at one end you would need a telescope and a radar to find the members. Thanks to Bren for his boot load of stuff since the traders already set up were lacking in 200 stylee goodies.
A weekend of some really funny moments interwined with hot days /wet night and some awesome cars and a great crowd, thanks everyone !! And as the strange bloke said when asking Matt about his tail lights 'carry on then' to which the reply was ' ok mate give me ten grand and I will!'
:D :p :D  :D

Well, I was just pissed really

Had to be one of the best weekends I have ever had :D

I finally got to meet the legend that is Nathan, I get the impression he likes his drink almost as much as I do :D And Yeager, fookin hell, words can't describe how much of a piss head this geezer is.

I had to get Scott Drayts to drive my car to the stand on Sat morning, cos I couldn't move, and when it was on the stand, I just lifted up the bonnet, then went to sleep the car

Spent the whole of Saturday night at the hungry *****, which was just so funny :D Listening to Keith talk shite all night, and Matt S constantly taking the piss :D

Did anyone hear that guy in the tent, shouting "Skanky, come and lick my ass" :D:D:D I know Bren heard it, but there were about 6 of us pissing ourselves laughing, absolutely classic :D

There is loads of other stuff that happened, but I can't remeber at the moment, I'll be back...

Yeah, a big thanks to all who organised and took part in JAE, as per last year, we had a riot of a time!

It was good to see some of you guys too. Kieth C was much less drunk this year when i caught up with him, and Matt S at around midnight... As usual, it was a pleasure to speak with Docwra and i finally saw Matt J this year! Hungry ***** was the tits too, well done to all involved! :)

certainly don't pile 8 people into RWD diesel turbo people carrier with Paz driving

I thought it was pretty fun!? :D :wack: I thoroughly enjoyed piloting the NightSpirit Fun Bus around the local area... Almost as much as the never ending Waltzer ride. hehe... I nearly broke my neck falling down the wet metal stairs after that. ahah..

Anyways, good fun. Thanks!

What a TOP weekend, though I bowed out late on Saturday as the misses was ill  (just as I had a taste for beer.

Mentions go out to (no particular order) Yeager (top bloke with BBQ), Cookie, for being super enthusiastic and showing me the way forward, AndyF for the tour of billing from the comfort of his Sunny, Little_jim, for for being my right foot man and living up to his little reputation, YorkshireRam, for putting most of my tent up, Matt_J for being a top geeza, the Scottish contingent for being top and a real good laugh, the bloke who I forgets name, for the quick jaunt down a certain A road at approximately 2 & 1/7 of something which is refered to as a limit, Steve Carter for being a top organised bloke, particularly for telling the Gold S14a to piss off as (he was a twat) not a member of the club, MattyGee, for being a top geeza, he likes crisps, ChrisGee, for being a younger version of his brother, Tac, for me recocnising someone some how?!?! Papa Laz, for getting there depsite two dead ECU's and Jezz for giving him a lift, Ken, for having a beautiful S14 (git), Vega, for being a top pissed/uncounches bloke, Dave_S, who also like crisps, and well, everyone I met you were all top geezas, and I really wish I could have stayed :( but the weather must have been fowl after I left as the motorways were horrible with the weather closed it :(

Such a good turnout it was unbelievable, some real class cars, and some terrible FF cars :(

Best car of the show, has to be the Volvo 440, now that was wicked, hey Papa, post some piccies, especially the one with me possing with it!

BTW......

Does anyone fancy a crisp?

A brilliant weekend despite the rain on Saturday night. Definitely going back next year. It's good now being able to put faces to the names and cars. Everyone was very friendly and some very nice cars to drool over. Had a great night on Saturday so big thanks to the northern crowd, especially Martin... we'd have been screwed if you hadn't turned up with that gazebo. Big thanks to Mr and Mrs Roadkill for the lifesaving coffees you made us each morning too :D

The whole weekend gets a big thumbs up from me :)

What an absolutely fantastic weekend :D :D :D

The boyz did a blinda with the Hungry ***** just amazing and was guarenteed to put a smile on the face of even the most miserable NTOC member;)

Simon did a wonderful job with lots of the cooking.

As did Richie and I believe Keith probably poisoned a few people too;)

It was great finally putting names to faces although I probably have them all mixed up now:rolleyes:

Anyone who didn't go this year, make sure you make it next year, what a total laugh:D

The cruise up worked really well  (Well the first couple of stops anyway:D ) Not quite sure how the hell I ended up leading the convoy out of Colchester though:rolleyes:

Maybe next year a few smaller groups from each meet should go up?

I know Steve is dead keen on the idea for us to all go up in one long convoy again:D :D :p :p :p

It was good to see a few faces who, up till then, were just avatars & text :D

I wished that I could have stayed longer but had to get back to deal with some family stuff on Sunday evening. Apologies to anyone that I spoke to with a glazed expression on my face - it was just that I was trying to sort out who everyone was!

A really good weekend!

I was on the NTOC stand though. Had a look at the SXOC cars but didn't know who any of you were off here!!

Rain was a sod on Sat night so I slept in the car. Comfy too!

All in all a really good weekend. Shame about some tw*t in an XR2 doing donuts on the field near the show cars tho. There's always one... Ford mentality I suppose...

Had a great time, everyone was really friendly, and the SXOC was undoutably the best car club there, with a completely full stand and taking up over a third of the camping area with the Gazebo city. Thanks to everyone (Except Vez and his crisps:mad: ;) :D ) for putting up with me, especially as I got progressively more drunk on both friday and Sat night.

I don't remember the Saturday.

I blame it on Friday's Absinthe :wack:, that incidentally has similar properties to Nitromorse on paintwork

Well I turned up on the Sunday, but everone was kinda scattered so didnt really get a chance to speak to anyone, had a good looky round though, one day I'll goto a show and NOT scrape the downpipe on a speedbump

will post piccies soon, unfortunately I had to revert to the dark ages and use a normal camera so gonna have to scan them in once I've finished the film

Traders stands...

not much for 200's, a mate saw a nice HKS embossed type sticker so he went to ask the price, it was about 8"x2" so how much was it?

£72!!!!!

They were also selling HKS & Blitz water/oil gauges for £150.....

£150!!!!!!!

so, one or two of the stands could have been a leeeeeeetle bit cheaper :)

overall was good, some quality cars there

I was pretty disappointed with the lack of shiny bits available for the 200.

Considering there was probably well over 100 200's there you'd have thought there would have been more available at thetraders stands:rolleyes:

But as expected Bren and Dan came through with the goods.

Between the two of them I think there was more stuff for the SX's than all the stands put together (including my shiny new carbonfibre strut brace:D )

Just got my Defi gauge and controller through the post from Bren too, all i've got to do is fit it;)

The first of many I hope for me.
Absolutely loved it and all the people I met, what a great bunch of guys and girls.
Cheers to Algie (Mark) for introducing me to people at 11:30pm when I arrived, breaking the ice and making me feel welcome, I then drank the most beer I have ever dunc, er I mean drunk.
Cheers Dunc for keeping us all entertained, my sides are still aching, the "Spence" story gets better every time.
Buckfast, that stuff is laughter fuel, the scottish lot were a great, was I snoring in that chair?
I'll repeat what everybody else has already said, it was great to put names to faces, or faces to cars as the case may be, I don't think any other car club could be so friendly.
I picked up someone's pliers that were being used to move the little BBQ around, anyone know whose they were?
The James maybe?
Well done to the Hungry ***** guys, they provided a great service and got the club a fair bit of attention and respect.
It was nice to meet Kev, Smiffad, Ken (very nice S14), dunc, anyone else who I was too drunk to remember and the ladies that attended, it wouldn't be the same if it was only men, mixed groups are always better for drunkeness and having a good time.
Well done everyone, let's make it even better next year.
Thanks to Steve Carter, the stand and tent arrangements were superb thanks to the organistion that went into it.
How Vega walked through those tents in the dark without falling into some of them I'll never know.
Drinking games next year would be good, I'll take the Friday off next year and arrive early so I can put the tent up then meet people in the light and get lashed.

Did anyone actually meet SpeedyPete?

Lighting, Heating and Gazebo's (or a massive marquis) are things to think about for next year.

That was a cracking weekend, one to remember.
Even if i did wake up at 7am to a chorus of SX exhausts with a splitting hang over, it sounded just like camping at 'LA MANS'! cheers Algie for the wake up call.
Fireworks were amazing even with the rain lashing down.

I apologise to everyone who spoke to me on Friday night i think the FTO conversation got a bit worn out hehe.

I hadn't realised Chris had fallen asleep until he started snoring. The funniest thing was seeing him on Sunday morning trying to work out how to get into his car.....

He gotten drunk and fallen asleep with the key in the ignition to keep his beer cool in the fridge:cool: and then got up in the morning to find the battery flat and him locked out:rolleyes: cause of the alarm:D (Chris - I can laugh now that you managed to get back in without causing any damage but at the time I was gutted for ya!)

And I can heartily agree dobergoose, Dunc's sobriety was an example to us all :p

(Vega must have been relieved that Dunc didn't start drinking until very late on friday or he would have had some serious competition for the 'most drunk' award.)

really need an oil cooler.

friday night looked great fun, but i was shattered from the weeks fun of getting the car ready so crashed out, was hoping for the same on the sat, but the rain put pay to that.

Id defo agree with mr. midgers about getting one huuuuge gazeebo next year, everyone just piles into it, then we are not split into pockets.

Memorable moments:-
Hearing Matt J say "reeeeeeelaaaaay" and Abbsoluuuuuutely" for the 700th time :D :D :D :D
Deciding the convoy away from charnock richard was waaay too slow so battered on ahead, then wondered where Matt and Roadkill had went to, finally phoned Matt and he says "yeah man everyone just blasted away, but im running in my engine here, only roadkill has stayed with me"
oops:o :o :D

said convoy breaking up several times and realsing that no-one really knew the way to billing.

seeing 5 200's go round the same roundabout 5 times till Matt decided where to go:D

Arriving at billing to be greeted by a load of guys saying hi Kev awright mate, and me not having a fcuking clue who they were.
who were u????

A certain club chairman allegedly insulting another board member on his choice of spoiler thinking it was me. mwaaahaaahaaa

Not having a fcuking clue how to put up a two peice tent in the bloody pitch black (dumbass forgot a torch)

and all that was just friday night.

jeeze, ill cut it down to
dodgems
Morgan (missy and Jackadoodledo's Kid) really scaring 6ft5" Matt J to the point he was running away and hiding from him.
listening to Steve c trying a bit of diplomacy with the disgusting wreck of a 200 that tryed to get on the stand.
Getting accused of making all the noise on friday night, cos a person with a similar accent got drunk (orco avatar)
sitting in the car listening to welsh Chris's music (oi mosh, fack off)

thats bout all i can remember right now.

was good to meet, Vez, Yorkshire ram, nissan newbie, Marty t3, Keith C, Wak(cant believe even ur wife calls u Wak), Vega, Andy f, Suffolk 1, Barry J dart, Matt s, Ken, Algie, Chrissy _b, Little Jim, Ash t 200, Matty G, Jacko+ Karen, Chris lacey +Abbey, Stoofer, Missy+ Jackadoodledo (and Morgan and Jacob), Doug, The Jim, Chiffs boy, Papa Laz, and many others who's screen names escape me right now (i should be in bed)
Anyway u were all brand new.

And of course Welsh bastid Chris and unlucky Arry.

Was good to See The Jibberer, Tac, Big Matt J, Steve c, Paul s13, Jezz s13, Kenny S13, Barry C, roadkill+ Julie, geeza, Bren+Ann again.

Was dissapointed not to meet more of u, especially Dave s, stuymac, Nathan 200 to mention a few, but shit happens i spose.

special thanks to Mrs roadkill for supplying the "bacon butties" while not understanding a word i said. :D
Barry j dart for loaning me the cleaning stuff on saturday:thumbs:
And Mr Jibber for keeping my smirny ice cold as usual, top man.
dobergoose for leaving me his gazeebo and bringing down the airbed pump we had forgotten.
Matt J for taking a good slagging and giving a fair bit back, "no waaaaay" ;)
And my wee lass for putting up with me going to talk to someone for 2secs all day and returning hours later, even though she didnt feel well most of the weekend (awe :( )

Ill p[robs add more when ive slept

Another couple of things that stick in my mind i just remembered:

- nearly passing out after single handedly blowing up a double air bed......by mouth/lung :wack: "oxygen makes you high" :D

- the 4x4 scoob offroad rally machine, that nearly slid into the front of phattys car due to the light covering of mud on our stand........what irony :D

- 206xy (aka the other half) rambling on about FTO's in a drunken haze - with KEN egging her on at every step.......once she gets one her names gonna have to be FTOOSLOW :)

- Falling over who evers tent it was who used what i can only describe as fishing wire for guy ropes......cheers :wack:

- the blue "jap stylee" volvo...say no more, snigger......

- The james bbq'in a jaffa cake........

- our bombfire that filled the gazeebos, forcing us out in teh rain - oops

- trying to put up out huge gazeebo with the only instructions being what 206xy can remember......(a woman who has trouble remembering my name - why does she call me MATT? ;) )

- doug's amazing sentence and actions on saturday looking round the trade stands............."wow, look at that baby duck" - stops dead in his tracks staring in ore at the stream - "wow, gotta nick that!" - funnier if you were there i should imagine as he wandered towards the stream with full intention of "knicking a duck"

sure there were more, but thats all i can think of at the mo.

oh yeh - being physically draged away kicking and screaming by 206xy from the back of brens car :D "shiney thiiiiiiiiiiiiiings!"

The weather was the worst Ive known in five years of going, but the atmosphere was better...

Good to see all the usual suspects - you know who you are!

Hungry ***** - feckin awesome!

Did somebody say Absinthe? I had one drink when I arrived and my head was feeling heavy 10 minutes later - along with my tounge being numb!

Highlights for me were probably the banter/piss taking session that me and Keith C had at 1am Sunday morning round the Hungry ***** - complete with audience - was a blast...:D

Not sure how the voting was scored for the awards, but thanks very much. I didnt know the categories, but would be lying if I said I didnt want to win one of them. Best S13. I was well chuffed and the trophy will take pride of place indoors...

Thanks again.

Biggup to Steve and the rest of the committee. Im glad the stand and the rest of the weekend was better organised than the convoy on the way up there - Im sure it would have been different though if it wasnt for the smash/20 mile tailbacks on the A14.

The rest of the show was overwhelming. Bigger than I had envisaged and the quality of some of the cars was superb. The Lexus stand did it for me - even if most of them were foreign ;)

That about winds it up. Good to put names to faces/cars. See you all again next year.

As everyone has said, a totally top weekend.:)

I arrived somewhat hacked of that the convoy had failed miserably within minutes of us deciding to go cross country to avoid the tail backs on the A14. Literally 2 minutes had passed, at the first roundabout after leaving Tescos in Bury St Edmonds were were split up, although we did lose Crazy Eddie and AshT at Tescos in Ipswich. Eddie because he was running in (sorry mate, should have waited for you) and AshT because his sense of direction failed him and he headed off in the wrong direction back towards home and then had to hammer it to catch us up again.:D
In the end it took me 6 hours to travel 100 miles. Convoys accross country: Just say NO!!!:)

But within minutes of arriving I had a swig of Ash's absinthe which went straight to my head and a herbal ciggie in my mouth and all was well again.:)

I couldnt possibly tell you how many people I met over the weekend and but good to meet you all, even though I dont remember half your names and in fact probably wont even recognise you again next year.:o

Thanks to Paul_S13 for helping me sort out the stand on both days. We were running round like idiots both mornings sorting out cars, removing tents that had camped on our stand over night and stopping a couple of 200s getting on the stand, I think most of you know one in particular which never had a hope of being in our show.:D

Thanks to Dan Blitzed for getting the banner sorted out in time, I'm pretty sure everyone was well pleased with it, I know I am.

Huge thanks to Yeager, Skidz and the rest of the crew that bult the Hungry *****. It was the star of the SXOC show and got the stand an amazing amount of attention. And more thanks to Yeager and Richie for spending the majority of their weekend cooking for the rest of us fat bastids.:)

Apologies to Missy about the newsletter. For those that dont know we had printed out a load of copies of the newsletter to hand out at the show but unfortunately it all went a bit pear shaped when we forgot to get them out of Bens car before he went home on Saturday afternoon. Missy put a lot of hard work into it and I was well pissed off with myself that they werent on the stand. There is TRAX and TOTB coming up though, we'll take them to those.

Gazebos.... A god send. The saturday night would have been a complete wash out if we hadnt had a load of them. If the club can afford it a proper marquee is a possibility.

I was a little;) annoyed about the stand space allocation this year as some of you may have noticed. There was us with 80 cars squeezed into an 80 car plot and then there were other clubs (I woNT mentiOn any Club names) that has a stand the size of a football field and a maximum of 30ish cars on it. Next year I plan on ordering a plot for 150 cars so either we end up with 150 cars parked up or we have more room to put a display on rather than what could be described as the SXOC carpark.:)

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, give yourself a pat on the back for being well behaved and not razzing about and annoying people like some drivers did, and I hope to see you all there again next year.

OMG
well what a GREAT weekend, having finally finished it when i returned at 3am this morning i can safely say im well and truly KNACKERED but it was worth it

I think half the excitement of Billing is actually getting to the bastarding event, mysel;f and a number of other unfortunates seemed to be rebuilding entire cars to get there, to say i just made it would be an understatement i can't believe how close it came

so to recap. 2 weeks of gruelling house moving, car building, swearing, anger and crappy weather before billing descended, no internet access having moved house means i can onlyt type this at the uni managed to get going on friday with lee (nissannewbie) as we rushed over from the north east to the north west to meet up with others at charnock richard. Running my newly built engine in progress was slow to say the least....

BUT wow what a convoy arrived at the charnock richard services, i was amazed! also amazed at how quick you all fecked off and left me and road kill pottering along LOL:D:D:D:D

MASSIve convoy meant stopping to change lightbulbs:rolleyes: MUCHO thanks to kev, mr midgers and all others who were lifesavers at that point;) Great stuff with lee managing to race an elise who prompttly pulled up with all of us to ask why the 200's were "quite quick"LOL. Also ace stuff in the convoy duly pointing out that on left hand bends fuel was pissing out of my new fuel tank:( ace stuff

well finally having set off at 2pm that day, 11pm we arrived at Billing, this event is HUGE now, sorry to all the faces i met that night that i couldnt recognise the next day, it was dark, i got drunk, arry i never knew your were ginger till the next day;)

SATURDAY wow, how massive was the day, weather held up on the stand, great to see and meet as many as i did altho i didnt get round to all of you! SO many people, the whole event of cars was astounding, and there was much drinking:D well done to vega on that one

ALSO a special thanks to all the A-HOLES who decided it was funny to make jest of my jamaican colour coded engine bay, twas purely functional rather than poofter polished;)

saturday night rain oh dear but the hungry ***** still lived, that is by far the best idea and well done to all who created thta piece of BBQ, twas really good well done to bren and ann for turning up and enlisting me and lee to set up their gazebo and tent in the rain. An un fortunate time was letting myself get extremely drunk in my car with music on for a few hours that flattened the bitch by morning nice fireworks tho

SUNDAY was also great, shame some 200's left due to the rain it really brightened up, great day great people, the sunday night was truly fantastic tho, turning my 200 into "the bar" and reversing up to the communal gazebo's i had the BEST time that night, thanks to the sxoc for leaving us some beers to be getting on with:wack: thanks to Jibber for bringing out his flahie barbie and starting it in the most pyromaniac fashion:D Thanks to ME for providing two day old non refridgerated sausages that people actually ATE in spectacularly quick fashion, knowing of the fate that may become of them LOL

set off the monday morning, thanks immensely to Chris carnut for all the MOT and welding workand staying 3 hours after he should have gone home to do it, you sir are truly a hero

To try and reel off some names and instances please dont be offended if i forget to mention but i would know you by face:D To all the northern crew, Lee, Kev, newly met DOYLE, Vez, Dunc, Marty_T3, road kill, yorkshire ram, mr midgers and all girlfriends wives, and mates

Didn't talk to many of the SXOC lot due to mucho alcohol consumption and everything being a bit fuzzy. Mananged a quick chat with Matt_J, Matt_S, Paul_S13, Chris, Bren (wheres my bumpers!) and Hobbsy :)
Actually got some some sleep at Billing too, which I hadn't at all the previous week due to trying to get my car ready but failing :(
Excellent show this year, much bigger than I'd expected :)
Got to laugh at the NTOC stand!! But at least it gave us plenty of room to get some photos of the SXOC lot from a distance :D :D :D.

Highlight for me must have been the 6 hour drive down in a shitheap Corsa, arriving at 11:30 and pitching a tent in completly the wrong place due to it being pitch black  :o

Was great to see everyone again - sooo many people I seem to know off the BB now :) Steve Carter, Paul, Keith, Yeager, Papa, jibber, kev, suffolk1 (of course ;) ), barry, chris, smiffad, bart, batman, the gee's, jacko, algie, grazor, ken, dave_s, andyf, matt_j, jeff, pete c, michael, syman, yeager, crazy eddie, arry, phatty, kenny, chris lacey...haha, mind's gone blank and I can't think of anymore names! But hello again to you all, and I'm sure I missed some dead obvious people off the list :o

Helloooo to all the new people I met for the first time - hope I told you all that I'm sh!t with names and faces...remember simon, missy, jackaldoodledoo, roadkill, doyle and dunc  - sure there are many more!

As Steve said, the mega-convoy down was quite hard work. After everyone abandoned us at the services, suffolk & I made our own way there, which involved going thru bedford in the rush hour  Not to be recommended! Missed out on most of that evening's festivities because I was just wayy too tired!

Saturday on the stand, and soo glad I was there early enough to get a decent space - none of the complicated parking that the s13 guys in the middle of the stand had to do! Quick stroll round the stands with Andy and my mate Des, with frequent stops at hungry ***** for refreshments  Can't believe how cool that was - soo impressive to see it in the flesh :D

The evening was a bit of a washout - top marks to jibber for buying a gazebo - we spent most of the evening under there. Sent Kev out for chips when we decided it was too wet to venture out to the bbq, watched the fireworks and then did the pipe 'n' slippers thing and went to bed early

Sunday evening was the best! Off to the pub for dinner, then a trip up to the fair to have far too many rides on the bumper cars :D Back to the tents to watch matt getting scared of a toddler ;) - was a good evening :D Woken up Monday morning by the tractors clearing the site and eventually strolled home about 3pm-ish :D Roll on next year!! :D :D

It was a truly epic weekend :)

The 7 hour convoy from the Westcountry, with certain people (PM200) taking a 30 minute detour involving driving back towards home before Vega made him turn round was fun... :)

Friday night with Vince and Simon trying to see who could get the most p1ssed, and my wife trying to keep up with the boys on the lairy stakes (she almost picked a fight with a GT4 owner who made some smutty inuendo..) and she paid for it the whole of saturday :D I vividly recall her and Vega trying to find his tent with a very small torch and way too much alcohol in the blood...

Saturday night, cooking a barby in the tent, avoiding death by smoke inhalation and generally having a laugh. Particularly when I'm in the tent and say "My minge is kicking out a right stink" to hear "It's proper BO I tell thee" come from outside the tent in reply, turned out it was Matt S, and made me realise that tents aren't "that" sound proof!!

Sunday was good, the weather held, the wasps left me alone and Matt J attempted to depress everyone ;) Then he remembered he had beer, and a great evening ensued.. even if I was the Sausage guinea pig, because Kev and Doyle were too chicken to try them :) Also, thinking about Matt J... I can't remember the last time I laughed so much, when he was being terrorised by Morgan, who was obsessed with a flash light, and of course the Silverback :D

However.. there were some cars there too... Respect to mr Carter for his excellent colour coded shiny ness, thanks to Bren for the NOS explanation, and more importantly.. Thanks to the GTROC for having so many lovely R33's on show that my wife has agreed to let me buy one :D :D !!! She had a great time, and was impressed by the whole club, we went to fast car many years ago and she hated it, this time she is talking about 200SX ownership (she'll inherit mine) and is already planning next year!

Sorry it was so lengthy, but some of us stayed the whole weekend :D

Had a wicked weekend. Arrived latish on Sat and drove around for 20mins looking for somewhere to squeeze me tent in (blue S14a K3VVR at 7pm on sat???)
Need to pluck up the courage to talk to more peeps, but its pretty dawnting approaching big groups of lashed owners. And I remeber someone shouting
''Lets go on a F**king mission '' at about 3am Sun morning, lol

Was a topper, and the turnout was class
