Hey all

Just got home from JAE, Billling. It was well brill. Met loadsa peeps who r well nice and got to put a few faces to names i.e. WAK, Skidz, Docwra etc, etc. All r well nice :D :D .

Just 2 update those unlucky few who didn't go @ the mo Yeager wins the award for the most drunken sx'er   (no surprise there then!) on Friday nite.
The Hungry ***** is going down a treat (it gets more attention & piccies taken than most other cars :D :D ), and shall be appearing in quite a few magazines soon (so watch out for it).
Other news is that the weatha was crap on Sat nite - it poured with rain until about 1pm (which was when a vast majority of sx'ers had gone to bed   ), but on Sun the bloody sun had come out, just as quite a few of us were setting off home.

I shall be posting my piccies on here in a couple of days - so watch out Keith & gang :p :p .

I had a great time so those who didn't go definately missed out :( .

*sigh* and was beaten at the post by Vega (hmmph, at least I can take my alcohol, 3 bottles of wine in 7 hours!) who had to be dragged back to his tent :D:D

Twas an excellent weekend and whilst I was cooking on the BBQ Redline, Fastcar and Banzai took some photos...

Despite a marathon effort from the man Yeager, the young pretender and late entry Vega sneaked up on the rails to snatch victory in what has to be the quickest pissed-getting I have seen. :)

Yeager - I think you should have got an award for the amount of cooking you did on the *****. The idea of having 6 or so chefs didn't really work that well as you always seemed to be on it.

The food was excellent too.

Hope you arm hairs regrow soon :D

I think me and Richie were jsut enjoying it far too much. I hope the other guys that wanted to cook didn't feel they were denied the chance.... will be many more times to come :)

As my wife will testify I am quite happy to leave cooking to someone else ;)

BTW Spirit, did Dan make it home without being sick?
(AFAIK nothing to do with the food I hasten to add)

Did anyone molest him while he was in that state? Pose him with a chicken, for example?

Actually, I don't think so. He didn't wake up missing any eyebrows AFAIK. Lost opportunity there.....:D

please explain - i've got a mental image of either cooking on the exhaust manifold or on the roof... neither of which can be recommended I'm sure...

the Hungry ***** clocked up over 12 hours of constant cooking this weekend :) Myself and Richie I think put most of those hours in... I just hope all who ate from it were happy with the food.

WAK - yup Dan made it home without pukin, thank god. Oh and it WAS the drink (bloody lightweight - LOL:D :D ).

Yeager- I just read the JAE awards post - I can't beleive that anyone could get more drunk than yaself EVER. God Vega must've been soooo drunk - :notworthy :notworthy

And well done 4 the cookin - u & richie should've got sommit 4 doin all that - u were both bloody good at it though - I can't decide who BBQ'd me qourn burgers betta. Actually I do know - when me, Keith, little Jim & jackal and gang started the HH up at 1am on sunday and couldn't get the coal to burn, we cooked from the firelighters    now that was nice  (but bearing in mind that certainly I was quite drunk by then so I may not have been able to taste as much by then  ).

ahh see now, I drank 3 bottles of wine and didn't collapse. The award was for the most intoxicated, not the most drunk by (alcohol) volume...

plus I let myself down on Sat night by only drinking 1 3/4 bottles :(
