What engines do they have?

pointless question, but I still want to know :)

Either a 2 or 2.6 litre SOHC Astron Turbo, with shitty TBI (Throttle Body Injection) which is little more than a glorified carby. They can be made to go hard tho, with an proper MPI (Multi-Point Injection) manifold from a FWD Magna/Diamante/Sigma. This does need relocation of the TB from one end of the plenum to the other.

why, you looking to get one?

Despite the "shitty TBI" ;) they still go nicely and the 2.0s were the fsatest 2.0s in production between 82 and 86.

Not really mate I just baught my ***** (it was a close thing between me car and a bike though). I just havent seen one for years and a doctor in my GP's surgery used to have one of them in red and I thought it was :cool: they also had nice wheels.


are they a 4 or a 6 cylinder engine?
