OK, this is REALLY perplexing me.
I'm building a site using DHTML, so that when you rollover a link, text magically appears below.
The links and text are contained within a table, with thin black outlines.
Now, this is the odd bit.
The showanswer for link one is:
"It's only a few months until Natalie Evans' Great Wall of China trek. The sponsorship money is already coming in thick and fast, so click on the picture for sponsorship forms and progress reports!"
The showanswer for link 2 was:
Acclaimed choir grouup, the Stuart Singers, recently performed in Minchinhampton for MEACH's benefit. Click the picture for a review ofthis excellent evening's entertainment.
Now, when you roll from link 1 to link2, the table was made wider - but ALL of the coding for the widths and text sizes was identical.
Even more strangely, when I replaced the text for link 2 with link 1's text, the table remained perfectly still at all times.
I've now retyped link 2's text and the table does not go wider, or narrower and doesn't flinch when you roll from one link to the other.
Given that all the tags were PRECISELY the same (and I know that they were coz i wrote the first one then copy/pasted to save time), why did it not like the original link 2 text? Any thoughts - it's driving me batty...
