Thanks so much for the go in the car Dr, it really opened my eyes to a new world, and was muchly impressed. I've driven lots of nice cars, but never been forced to give one death before, thank you for encouragement :D

Who else had a go then? At least 15 people I reckon

Legend, Dr B! Legend!

There was a conversation earlier today about what Bob was going to do with the pile of NIPs he'll shortly receive.
It would be helpful if all drivers could post up precisely the time periods involved.
Fankoo :)

What an awesome car :D As I said to Bob the XF is more engaging and the one to get if you want a pure drivers car but for a luxo barge with a bit of grunt it is superb :smitten:

Definatly on my cars to own list

Thanks again Bob, either you are very trusting or you dont give a shit about your car :D:wack:

It seems I was the only person there that didn't abuse the jag around Derbyshire this weekend:(

NP chaps - i'd like to thank everyone who chauffered me around this weekend - it was fun:D.

particularly enjoyed Joe's second lap of the roundabout:eek:

i think the list of drivers is Deacs, Madda, GaryP, AP2(who kindly took it to get washed), Mark, Jim, Dave(Clai), docwra, Stidi, Sideways Danny, Algie, FBT, and a guy with a BMW whose name completely escapes me.

i love my big Jaaaaaaaggggg:) after all that abuse it's happily wafted me home over the peaks and my hangover is cured:thumbs:

as said many times over the weekend, bastard :D

felt great for such a big car, pulled nicely, held the road very well and completely anonymous until you want otherwise. I like this in a big big way :D

Thanks again for the drive Bob, what a complete package your Jaaaaag is.

The rate at which it accelerates from town speeds, A road speeds and from a motorway cruising speed upwards was simply incredible. How does it do that with sub 400hp?

It felt nimble and agile down the twisty bits, no lean or sag but then it gobbled up potholes and speed bumps I would have slowed for in Karens ATR.

The tunnel run with the windows down was great. I loved how you can power out from T - junctions instantly upto 30mph with no fuss or commotion and then transition seemlessly into an effortless whooshing glide along the High Street, superb. I was grinning and giggling for the whole drive.

It's a car that really does tick all the boxes and I would be setting out 30 minutes earlier for work everyday!
