This baby lark is really putting the pressure on for wasted space in the house. Ive decided to seel my bulky pc equipement in light of a new laptop, and some slick wireless stuff so i can get broadband in any room (pain having to keep drilling holes int he walls!)

So, I have two PCs currently:

AMD Duron 950Mhz
512MB RAM
20GB total storage
Haynes 56k external modem
Trust 350 Watt speakers
15 samsung monitor.
Sony CD-rW
Onboard sound
GeForce 2 MX400 64mb graphics card
Keybaord and mouse
Brother 600dpi Lazer printer.
Small Digital camera

And the next:

AMD K6-2 400Mhz
192MB ram
10GB storage
CD-ROM drive
Speakers
Keybaord and mouse
14" monitor (but bad lines thorugh it - was an old server screen)

Also have a low specl laptop

P133, 32mb ram, CD, floppy, 1.3GB, win98, charger.

So, what dyua reckons its worth?

I think you'd be lucky to get that mate, they're all waaaaaaay below current specs for even the worst machine... you could easily pick up a 2 gig bundle for 600 notes.

I reckon first PC £300 tops, £100 less if they dont really want the printer.

£40 for the 2nd if you're lucky enough to find someone who wants em. the K6-2 wasnt a good chip, not as fast as the equivalent PII/PIII and the monitor is worthless with a dodgy picture at 14"

£50 for the lappy.

ouch, reserve set at £60 on the lappy? better off breaking it and selling for spares, you'd get about £30-£40 for the CD drive if you have the right market.

I did think it was £10 too high originally:rolleyes:

ah well, I sold my last p133 for £150 so we'll see what happens... some people on ebay bid above retail sometimes its daft (all because they dont look anywhere else)
