View Full Version : Random Poll: Which is your quickest electric window?
I noticed that my drivers side electric window goes up/down quicker than the passenger one by about 1 or 2 seconds. Which is fastest on yours?
:| I've never actually bothered to check.
Guess what's gonna be the first thing I do next time I get in the car :D :o
I always race mine as soon as I get in the car and the weather is hot. :wack:
Add an electric sunroof into the race and its exhilirating stuff....:D
I'm dreading the reply to this question, but how do you hold all three buttons down simultaneously?
I can do both the drivers and passenger window with one hand, and the sunroof button (which is next the the intstrument panel lighting dimmer) with the other :D :p :D
Passenger side.... cause i had to replace it, and i lubed the runners (sounds dodgy.....)
Only had to replace it cause some TWAT ran into the side of me when i was overtaking (this TWAT was driving at 7.5 ton Iveco van at the time  )

I think they're both the same, although in my old escort, the drivers side was a good second faster than the other

Can't fooking believe i just did this......... but here goes.
'98 S14a
Drivers window takes 2.4 secs to open with engine running.
2.8 without engine running.
windows take same amount of time (2.4 sec)when opened together.
must have looked a bit strange :wack: :wack: as at about 10 i walk out to my car, get in, then start opening and closing the windows, stop for a mo, then start the engine and do it all again!! My neighbours must be more than a little worried by now :wack: :wack: :wack: :wack: :wack:
