Why are Twiglets addictive?

Tesco currently have buy one get one free of packs of twiglets.

I open a pack and everyone in the office gets addicted to them.

We have consumed 20 packs in the last week!

Why are they so addictive?

Tesco also have Lilt on "buy one get one free" (6-pack free).

£2.08 for 12 cans of Lilt including the new Banana & peach flavour which is nice!

Because they are very satisfying to eat, plus there is virtually nothing to them, so you can wolf them all down...
they please the nasal and oral receptors, so you get a double whammy
