Things like "er, its 5:30, Im not really in a postion to go measure each adapter" ARENT words of good customer service.

And then on a complaint to customer services I get "well, it isnt really the best time of the day to request a part number"

ER, WHAT?!?! Im a fecking CUSTOMER not a frigging tramp on the streets asking for freebies, IM GIVING YOU MONEY!

"Right, well that will be 2 to 3 weeks delivery" ME - "Er, ok well I'll send a PO so you can send it to me friday" them - "yeah, I suppose" ME-"well can I have a reference or catalogue number??" THEM - After huffing and puffing and looking through a catalogue (ie. NO measuring of anything)"yeah its *****, and will be 7 days delivery but im not ordering anything until I get your money"

Idiots.


So, I browse my car mags, and ring someone else. They dont have it in, but theyre going to ring round, get me the part and then call me at 8:30 tommorrow, appologising he didnt have them to hand.

I will be buying from the latter guys again, and avoiding at all costs DEMON 'NO CUSTOMER SERVICE' TWEEKS

You're absolutely right about Demon Tweeks. They are total shite at mail order. I use them for tyre fitting (I take the tyres to them) 'cause they're round the corner from me, and to be fair, the tyre fitters do a good job. Personally I wouldn't trust the rest of the monkeys there to wipe their own arses properly. When I was there to have me tyres fitted last November I watched the monkeys trying to fit a zorst to a Pug 306 GTI-6. They couldn't get the fecker to fit so they got a fecking great jigsaw and cut a big notch out of the back bumper then taped it up with gaffa tape. Complete cocks.

I ordered a set of goodridge braided hoses for a VW caddy gti and in total it took 9 long months for them to deliver the correct goods to my door, it only took a few days for them to take the money from my account though, in the end the boss of demon tweaks (supposedly) said that he had to get them specially made up by goodridge despite having them in their catalogue as a stock item and it still took them 3 attempts to get them the right length, all I can say is that they were lucky that the hoses were not for me as my patience would have run out after 1 month, but as the friend that I was ordering them for was in prison he was prepared to wait....:wave:

I had to wait three months for a set of Compomotive MOs from DT and when they turned up they were the wrong bloody offset.:rolleyes:

ordered a set of wheel nuts from them... stated VERY clearly what the pitch was... they 'had them in stock' so i forked out for next day delivery... 3 days later they turn up...

THE WRONG BLOOMING PITCH!!!!!

i phones them up, and i get to speak to the lead chimp, who gives me the number of thier supplier to talk to :rolleyes: finally get the nuts, and a refund on my postage... urg.... not an enjoyable saga...
