For all you Sussex / Surrey people....
That's right everyone, it's back again for another year!
We've gone away from the tried and tested weekender of Prescott Hill and we're trying something a little different this year.
The camping will be taking place at Billing Aquadrome in Northamptonshire. Anyone that has visited Billing will know that it's a great place to camp, we'll have atleast a field to ourselves and will be close to the toilet and shower facilities.
As with previous years, we wanted to keep a motorsport element. This year we'll be going to Santa Pod Raceway, where we'll have access to the quarter mile drag strip (along with a load of other people taking part in RWYB) along with special access to a handling circuit set aside from the strip. One important thing to note for this year is that this will be happening on Saturday 9th July.
At present, we're not going to be taking bookings for the motorsport element through the club, though if enough interest is generated for it, I'll go back to Santa Pod and attempt to arrange a special discount with the number of people booking.
Payments for camping will be coming through the club as normal.
This is a thread to let you know what's happening and allow those that need to, to book the time off work. There will be a booking thread up shortly though.
