2 is correct.

I thought about putting my current exhaust in my boot (is it just me or does that sound really stupid..?) and decided against it once I'd got the hatch open and the seats folded.

PLUS the passenger seat doesn't fold all the way over so effectively you've just got to the headrest.

There IS one solution....do what I did - go round and borrow your Dad's Mondeo!

However, I had to put up with 'can't your marvellous Nissan fit one in then' jibes but I get that sort of comment whenever I see him. Favourite is 'can't you get four people in then' or 'and how much does your insurance cost'.

I always come back with 'and how fast is your Mondeo?' Ha!
