hi what is thebest place to measure, machine and balance the engine around bistol?I've been to "price brothers" in avonmouth, they pressure and vacume tested the cylinder head, and cleaned the surface but i'm not to sure if they were up to the job as i'm using forged internals. i've been recomended "Anderson race engines".who can you recomed?

 IIRC was only a tenner a bore

I had crank checked and polished, block bored, honed and cleaned; also had a few heads skimmed. A few other locals have had work done through them too with no complaint.

The guys there are really down to earth and give good sound advice, real old school style of working, they check the parts in the right order and call you up before they proceed and cost you a load of money. Matey just had his RB block checked, before they started they quickly honed the scored bore and called him up to say that it needed boring out past standard pistons and new pistons needed, advised it might be cheaper to find another block

IIRC I got my my acl big ends from them a lot cheaper than anywhere off the internet ;)
