Red Nose Day Meet Sunday 20th March (Bristol)

Hi everyone!!

Just thought I would bring to your attention that there is a huge meet at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol on Sunday 20th March.

It is in aid of Red nose day and there are a lot of people turning up.

It would be great to see some of you guys there, show a more japanese presence and try to over run the crappy french cars :sxoc:

anyway post your interest on here, if possible we could have a convoy going there, would be good!

Well actually there are going to be people there with collection buckets
There are also people that are going to be baking cakes and selling them on the night and giving all the money taken to red nose day

But its up to you if you dont want to come, not fussed really, was just seeing if anyone was interested in a meet as I would like to meet some of you guys. Thought it would be a good idea to combine it with a big meet.

As much as i love going to meets, track days etc etc, i dont really find it fun sitting in a car park looking at 1 litre corsas with about tons of fibre glass attached to them. If it was a jap car meet, or something along the lines of that then sure i would come, chav car clubs is just something i personally hate, dont take it personally dude.

Hey, if it's a meet for different marques with peeps who like modding their cars, fair do's - hey we all started with corsa's etc (in case you're interested, when I was 17 (many moons ago now! :wack: ) mine was a Cavalier called Sky who I put a fibre-glass GSI bumper on! lol).

If yer not up for it, no worries, but perhaps just say that - no need to shoot it down - different peeps like different things :nod:
Plus, perhaps our motors will give peeps sommit to aspire to, you know? it's always good to try new things, meet new peeps, get the word out about the SXOC for when peeps fancy trying a 200 (introduce us and what we're all about etc) - I expect the scene has changed since I did it etc.

I completely agree with you to be honest!

My first car was a modded micra lol

Terrible, but now i got the sx, the micra taught me a lot now i can do a lot of work on my own car after breaking and fixing the piece of rubbish so much!

But oh well, there were a few sx's at the meet and managed to talk to most of them!
