Good morning peeps,

There are TONS of websites selling jobs in IT out there. Can anyone give me their personal feedback on any good and working sites?
You know how it is, you sign up, give them all the info then find their database has 3 jobs int he whole midlands! So, not only do you waste your time but end up on seeing two or three sites at which point you give up!

Muchos gracias

www.jobserve.com

thats where most contractors look, but you'll find registering with decent agencys will help.

Spring IT
Hays IT
Harvey Nash

They're three that I would recommend but there are so many.

If you look on jobserve there are a list of agencys with their email address for you to send your cv off to.

What in the wonderful world of IT do you do???

Well Ive been working in 1st+2nd line (whatever that really means) support for the last 2 years, and then three years on-off before that.

I work for a managed services company, so I effectively administer 15-20 different company networks each and every day

Its been fine upto now, moral is low here since new managemant, and its generally no fun anymore. Good experience though, but you just 'know' when you need to move on (and get more money!)

I can see an extra 4-5 grand available if I was to budge, and with the new baby on the way I could realy do with it (the 1 grand xmas bonus isnt really worht waiting around for)

be careful of websites... some jobs are false... recruiters just fishing...
