View Full Version : Testing interest on fuel rail kit combo S14/S15

As a few have requested for us to make a complete fuel rail upgrade for the stock S14/S15 intake plenum, we are currently looking into it and seeing how many would be interested.

The kit will probably consist of:

Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors
Intake manifold spacer
Fuel rail -6an or -8an
Hardware

Ok here's the deal...

We are going to offer this both ways:

#1 -6an fuel rail with bolt on brackets and hardware, intake manifold spacer.
#2 -6an fuel rail w/bolt on brackets and hardware, intake manifold spacer, and custom ID1000 injectors.

We are going to try to make the fuel rail where you can bolt on the stock fuel pressure regulator or a aftermarket piece like Nismo, SARD, Tomei etc.

#1 - will be 189.00USD + shipping
#2 - will be 639.00USD + shipping

The key is that the more pre-orders we get, the faster these will get done. At least 5 will get these into production almost ASAP.

I have one question though, if you intend on running 1000cc injectors should you not be looking at a larger inlet manifold set-up anyway? Is the standard one ok for high bhp?

In an ideal world, yes if you plan on running 1000cc injectors, you are more than likely trying to make good power, but there are still some that want to run the stock intake plenum. Before we go and develop something like this, we want to make sure guys would be interested in it. If not they can just upgrade the intake manifold which we will have available for the S14/S15 here shortly. We already have the intake manifold available for the S13 and VE conversions which both will also clear RHD applications.

would this kit fit the greddy plenum on the sr20det ? also does that price include 4 1000cc injectors , rail etc everything i need to replace my sard 850's ? cheers .

I was about to ask about using the spacer plate, ID injectors and your fuel rail :nod:

I take it a fuel pressure reg will be on top of that price?

Update on this, got an email back from Mazworx saying as there was a lack of interest they have postponed development.

I have asked for a price on all the standard parts they have and will make it fit :)

Cool, I did email you guys back re supplying the kit with your standard rail. I've got a good source of machining/welding I can use to make it fit :)

I may have found a Greddy short port as well though, should know soon hopefully :)

I've got a Mazworx fuel rail, Intake manifold spacer and ID2000's fitted to a standard plenum,

Making fittings was pretty easy the only issue was I had to lose the use of the AAC idle control valve as there isn't room for the air intake underneath (fuel rail gets in the way)...... I have the butterfly set slightly open to compensate

It should work, but not 100% sure on the GReddy dimensions.

Not good :(

For us to build a jig and machine time for just 2 rails isnt really worth it.

No worries, I've sold my 740cc so need to sort somthing :) If the numbers are low I'm happy to buy the standard top feed rail with the injectors and spacer plate and make it fit. Hopefully Naas is in as well so only 2 to go :D

Will this set up work with the usaul upgrade injectors? i.e. Nismo, Sard ect.

Edit. Looking at the Masworks thread on injectors Im guessing its for top feed, is this right? Also will it be OK with the standard plenum?

Yep, top feed :nod: Allows you to run decent 1000cc injectors.

It will be designed to work with the standard plenum and fuel rail. Thinking about that, I hope it works with the old style Greddy plenum as well :wack:

Right then, I know Adams not too fussed about this at the moment, so that leaves me :wack:

Can you guys PM me a total price for a set of ID1000's, your normal fuel rail and a spacer plate please? Looking at the injectors on your website I assum I need the shortest version, but I don't know what diamter I need to fit the plenum/fuel rail. I know I need to modify the fuel rail but that won't be an issue :) Delivery would be to postcode NR35 2PA.

I'd like to get these sorted before Christmas so that I can fit them while on holiday :)

Are you sure you cant use the Idle Air Control Valve with your top feed rail and a manifold spacer ?
If I could keep the IACV, i would most definately buy a rail with ID725 Injectors, as the ID1000 are too big for my application.

You can get around it, I did this to make it work with my old Greddy manifold. It's the pipe that connects the valve to the ic pipework that's in the way, so you blank the port underneath and put a new fitting in the top :) This one is spare now as I changed the plenum...
