Anyone know what on earth this is?

I'm just watching the Mexican rally on Motors (my first round as i missed the last one) and they just mentioned extra points for a power stage or something.

Power Stage: New for 2011, the Power Stage will form the final stage of a rally and run over a shorter distance to make it suitable for live television coverage. Bonus points (3-2-1) will be awarded to the fastest three drivers respectively.

So basically a special stage with a new name and points revisions!
