View Full Version : Win2k Server Probs, inetinfo.exe
inetinfo.exe is draining my servers memory and i cannot end process, restarted the IIS service that just cleared its used memory, and then just clocks it all back up again. restarted the server and that also done the same and it is still clocking up the memory.
any ideas? not much useful info found on the net yet.
You must have a memory leak in something like a web page... if you're running stuff like ASP check the code, and apply all the latest service packs etc...
Then reboot it
By then there will be more service packs, so go back to the beginning, and keep doing it until it works!
Gotta love Microsoft!

Internet Information Services? Isn't that a trojan horse that just happens to be able to also sometimes let your Windows server serve web pages:wack:

We had the same problem at my work. In the end the developers found that it was a bug in the MS software, but there is a work around, something to do with the COM objects. whatever they did, it cured the problem, now I just have to deal with Mail essentials doing exactly the same thing
try http://www.dbforums.com/ ASP section...
