Just put my boot up the technicians arse cas he reckons it'll need to be fixed off site and take at least a week. He's now contacting head office to see if they can provide me with a replacement :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

The solution did present itself and he is currently installing a new one. Funny how this situation that he reckoned couldn't possibly be 'sorted' today could in fact be 'sorted'.

Shame it's too late for my conference but we'll try again tomorrow, shouldn't be any lasting harm just a bit of embarrassment.

Have been on the other side of these things mate so I know what it's like.

But that's totally irrelevant. We paid a hell of a lot of money for this conferencing thing and I damn well expect a decent level of support with no fudging and excuses.
