Thinking of buying an M coupe. Anyone know anything about then? Obviously they're rear wheel drive monsters, so you lot should have some idea of how they handle? If they're pants any other ideas for fun cars budget of about £20 k. only 24 so insurance might be an issue!

May I point you in the direction of a Mazda RX8!!

I doubt you'll get much kit for £20k on a bmw!

If I had 24k to spend it wouldn't be a M coupe.

GTR all the way. :)

Yup a couple of very nice looking R33 GTR's on autotrader right now ~18k. leaving £3k for insurance and a bit left for more mods :D

Got so much more presence than a bmw ;)

Beemer.

I would like to apologise unreservedly if you took my comments as having a pop at you or anything. I was merely being my usual sarcy self and genuinely didn't mean to cause any offence. :) :)

I agree with Wak, get another S14 or an S15, or maybe wait till later in the year and get a 350Z.

Cheers people.

Just bought nyself a kit car. Found a 2 year old dax rush cosworth turbo. 400 bhp at the wheels, in a car that weighs only 700 kg!   :D :D :D .

Goes like stink. was £12000 but hell it's only money. Insurance is cheap too only 700 quid:thumbs:

Acceleration is unbeliavable, it is however only rwd so getting power down is tricky.

The M-Coupe is a 321bhp 3.2 inline six taken from the E35 M3 EVO, the M-Coupe was made to be a bit more tail happy than the M3's.

Also the build quality is fantastic, much better than Nissan/Dax, laod slag off BMN's but lets face it they have never released a FWD car and even there smaller cars are RWD or there bigger 4x4's, not many manufacturers do that these days, even Jag make a FWD car

My friend had a 328 coupe, it was like a clowns car with bits always falling off. The air conditioning used to wet the passengers legs, the door trim fell off if you shut the door too hard, sometimes it wouldn't start, and the central locking couldn't be convinced that it should be locking the boot as well as the doors.

The later models of the M-coupe were tweeked to produce an extra 4 BHP, so the later ones actually produce 325bhp :)
