Renting in Oxted

Hi,

I am wanting to move from East Grinstead to Oxted/Hurst Green area.

Can anyone recommend places to look for rental property? I have looked on tons of websites, but they all just seem to have the same places on them. Is there a local paper i should look at? Maybe they have a website??

Plus is there any areas i should avoid round there? Bare in mind im from just outside Glasgow, so i don't scare easily. :)

Hurst green is known to be a not so nice area.
Tandridge council might have a website.
Possibly county border news too.

Really?? I have heard mixed reactions about it, some people say its full of pikeys and other say its nice. Maybe its certain areas in there that are not so good???

I guess this doesnt say it all, but it looks ok on google street view.

Some parts are ok. But majority is council housing. Doesn't have as nice a rep as oxted.
