View Full Version : Local Places that sell Copper Washers?

Hey All,

Does anyone know any local places that sells Copper washers for my Turbo (T28R)? I dont really want to wait for on-line delivery. I did see Halfords are selling some, but they dont look the type i should be installing on the turbo :eek:. I think the Size is 10mm (Its for the oil feed).

Did you use the kit they do? They dont look the correct type though, and i dont think they are crushable?

Yep I've got an eBay jobbie 200 assorted copper washers in diffrent sizes for a tenner. Haven't let me down yet! And they came in a nice box...

Same goes for the split pins for my
Suspension!

I just use the ones out of halfords, never had a problem.

Hmm i might give them a go then! There is one just down the road, and it saves hunting around :)

It was the assorted size pack they do, doesn't seem to matter that they don't crush as they are the softest part of the 'sandwich' so still seal the joins just fine :)

Murt, all copper washers crush, thats how they seal, only thing you need to worry about is the thickness, if its too thick you wont have much thread left for the banjo joint
