Hi Guys,

Just been given the heads up that Sunday the 13th is the date for Session 1 from Drift-inc.

The A048's are a real nice grip tyre for dry clean surfaces but more than the Toyos :wack:

Did try the local curry house we use for after the drifting etc. They pretended to not understand me, then when i called back 1/2 hour later to order a curry they suddenly began to understand me lol

i have a new stainless mani and elbow to fit as mine is cracked (i think)
i have to fit new belts to the car because they are making a noise and they are really badly worn
i need a new clutch and flywheel

i hope i can find a clutch prior to pembrey, i'll probably end up fitting the clutch next thursday is i can source one.

so much to do, so little time :(

The tyre will tuck on suspension travel so you don't need to go too drastic.

Just get it nice and warm to stop it cracking the paint and you should be fine.

Also there is no need to go mad and roll the whole arch, just find the mid/high point and roll 3 inches either side at first then go from there.

I got 10 tires all 225 and bigger, all 18 in the s15 and tolls etc.

2 on the passenger seat, 4 stood up on the rear seats, one ontop off the 4 stoof up, up against the roof. 1 in the spare wheel slot in the boot and 2 on top of it side by side :)

Toyos will be fine 888's however will be pointless PMSL

You will have next to no grip on the front at all, combine that with the surface and grease/oil laid down and it will be uncontrollable.

car is all ready after a nice late night sessin in G-tec's garage last night. Replaced the manifold and elbow with apex stainless steel ones, changed the diff oil, wd40'd rose jointed arms, G spotted that i have only the nut on the right engine mount and not one of the left lol, anyone got a NUT?

If G wasn't there last night the car would not be ready in time for pembrey on sunday, mainly due to the ****ing apex elbow!!

what a bitch it was to fit, they surplied a shorted stud, the stud had to be removed from the turbo exhaust housing, shortened stud fitted, then the flange didn't quite fit, you know when you fit a t28 to a s13 and you have to file out the gasket and elbow, this had to be done. Once the elbow was finally on the 3 bolts that they supplied to connect the downpipe to the elbow, basically they screw so far and then they get stupidly tight, the threads had to be retapped by G and then we were cooking with gas.

Removed the aircon belt also as there is currently no gas in it and have plenty of torque now with elbow and mani :)

Clutch is still fubar'd but i'm sure it will last me pembrey (i hope)

Need to get it stripped off and get all the threads helicoiled now!

Yeah im chuffed BUT i don't think it's the same issue :wack:

On the way up to Llandow this morning it was being all gay again and refusing to boost tidy, last weekend i had managed to get 1.2 Bar from the actuator and 1.4 Bar using the AVCR.

Then today it refused to work again, had a nose over it at Llandow and could not see anything, on the drive home noticed that the Boost reading on the AVCR was lies and after a fiddle on the AVCR managed to get some more boost.

Then the bolts stripped the threads on the comp housing :wack:

So fingers crossed it's just Heli-coil the inserts and i will have boost again :)

Anyone know where i can pick a kit up from tomorrow ?
