Hi guys and Gals, are we having a longwell meet on the 8th (tomorrow) like normal or making it next weekend so as to not clash with the chelt lot???
I can make either day as I have nine days off now,
still won't be in the S13 though:cry:

Meeting should have been today, 2nd Saturday of the month but with last Saturday being the first day of the year this meeting has sneaked up a bit quick. And yes it would have clashed with Cheltenham so next Saturday makes sense for anyone who wants to meet up.
I have work commitments so am unsure if I'll be there.
I beleive it'll be for this weekend - Sat 15th Jan '11.
I won't be there - will be down in Hemel.
Bristol Blue is due to be working also, so whether he'll make it a little later on or not
I'll highlight this to him and get him to confirm

maybe we should change it to sunday mornings lol i know it would be better for me...
I can never make saturdays also
i'm thinking a sunday afternoon would be good, and while the weather's cold/wet like it is, a nice warm pub with heart warming ale wouldn't be a bad place to meet either ;)
I reckon we would probably get a better turn out on a sunday or even a mid week meet at a pub or something

ok lets pick a better time. Ill put a thread up with a poll now and see what the consensus is.

I know Saturdays are a pain for some, and its hard to please everybody, but it kills me when there's a local airfield track day or Castle Combe club day, all free entry, clashing with a meet.
Castle Combe usually has 9 club days in a year, a couple are in the same month, MLR, Lotus, Porsche, etc, with FREE entry.
A massive improvement on a car park, with the option to take part !

not a bad shout, gives people something to look at and a few more people from further a field migth make the trip if they can make an afternoon/day out of it
Plus there's that pub on the way back just before the M4 which could be a second meeting point - some people can spend the day at the track then go to the pub for tea, people who don't want to go to the track can just meet at the pub.
Could make the meets only on the days when there is a club meet at combe (limited to one a month or something) - might mean there aren't as many meets in a year but each one is a bit more of an event.
Just some thoughts but a proper poll/thread to discuss would be a good idea
