SRR Dyno Day, Chinese & Drinks in Woking - Sat 19th March 2011

Seeing as a few people have asked, we're sorting another dyno day over at SRR :D

The cost will be £30 for members and £40 for non members. Please remember to bring cash with you on the day -no payment, no run!

We'll have two lists going -one for dyno runs, and the second one for who's coming for the Chinese afterwards! :D The SRR day will start at 10am. :nod: Chinese will be at 6.00pm :nod:

Hi, I'm a mate of ragt20's and I'd like to come along for a run if possible please? I've a Nissan Almera (I know I know, FWD fail :facepalm:) and am local to SRR. I've actually got an owners club meet over in Essex in the eve so won't make your chinese I'm afraid but we've got one going on there as well! :)

I also reckon I'll be heading back to SRR once or twice again this year (this time being a base run) and as you guys seem to have a regular run down there I'd like to benefit from paid membership please :). If I can pay someone the membership fee at the meet this Saturday that would be even better, as it'll mean I'm paid up, get the RR discount price, and skip the Paypal fees. Hope that's ok :)

IMPORTANT!!

Every person attending in a car (wether running on the dyno or not)
Is now required to sign a form, these will be handed to you on arrival but here is a copy of it as it makes sense you see it before getting there, anyone who is bringing mates make sure they see it to please:thumbs:


Rolling Road Day Instructions
Please read the following, and sign at the bottom to say you have read and understand. Your car will NOT be allowed onto the site without the driver having a signed form. This is regardless of whether you are running on the Rolling Road or not.

I’m afraid our landlord is having serious problems with local residents blaming the site for noise issues, it’s generally not the site, or SRR fault, but we get blamed for it anyway. Due to this, it is extremely important that you read the following and take it in! I cannot understate the importance of this!

1)The main road outside the site is tempting for a blat, the bikers use it, we get blamed for the noise, Please Please do not race up and down it, It’s public roads, but our landlords and us get the blame for the noise it creates

2)Please stick to 10 mph on the site, people walking around, noise again etc

3)Be polite to the Security Guards, at least wave at them without the middle finger raised.

4)The Car parks, these are for parking cars, not doing donuts, it leaves evidence and there is CCTV. Someone was killed on the site a couple of years ago in a car, so you can understand the sensitivity surrounding this.

5)We are lucky to have the premises we have (well, maybe not the loo, but that’s in hand). The Landlord will kick us out if we cause them trouble. I’m afraid in exchange for letting us continue to do Rolling Road days the landlords have asked we do this form. This is due to the fact that despite being asked not to, a car with a screamer pipe raced up and down the road outside and straight past the Site manager!

6)We are sorry for requiring people to do this, it’s not something I wanted to do, but I have no choice if I want keep our lease. I have spent 6 years building SRR and I’m not prepared to lose it!

Yeah thanks for sorting this out :thumbs: a power run was well over due for me and I was well happy with my 405bhp, especially as the aston martin only made 9bhp more than me!! lol.
