had a fair bit of snow in my area of bristol all the main roads are clear now but the streets where I live are pretty bad snow is turning to ice now and will proberbly stay that way for a while none of the side streets get gritted or anything round just stay like it till it melts
last time it snowed back in janurary or whenever it was the roads around my place were iced up for like 3 weeks.

dude my nearest gritted road is like 4-5 miles away!! i laugh at iced up side roads :)
im on the edge of worcestershire - Alcester in warwickshire
Grit is ****ing useless, the gritters came through yesterday, whilst it was still snowing and their ploughs 10cm off the roadway, leaving lovely compacted ice for everyone to drive on lol.
It was -12 degrees this morning
9"-12" in places :wack: 63 mile drive to work on monday - NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT
