Hey Hayley,

Fantastic holiday thanks Chick. Tunisia really is a Country to be explored...very underrated...the people responsible for promoting tourism there ought IMHO to stop promoting it as having fab hotels and a 'scene' limited to a beach/poolside type holiday. I spent 5 days on safari with 5 other peeps (camel and Landcruiser) which took me into the Sahara for 2 days, into the Atlas mountains in the West and then to the very North of the country. Amazing. I visited where they filmed Gladiator, Star Wars (the first one and the Attack of the Clones) and, of course, the English Patient.

All felt very surreal...one week your sat at your computer surfing BB's to ease the monotony and the next yer sat on a Dromedary (one hump for me ;) ) watching the sun set over the Sahara. Would have been a near perfect 'moment' except that I'd hooked up with a guy from the Wirral (don't ask!..I go all that way....) who kept breaking into sketches from Phoenix Nights :D
