Just took delivery of one off of ebay, is there any way to test it's working OK?

not that i know of other than popping to your locla circuit. Try AMBs website.

As AMB in Holland who make the transponders were all model car racers (Bervoets Bros), then if the 'car' transponders work on same frequency as kart and model car versions, pop along to local R/C model car club and try it there!

Talking out of my bottom, there is a light and it works when powered up.

Got it tested and it's working fine :)
