View Full Version : Le Mans boys - how you getting there?
Just occurred to me that we need to work out how many camping pitches we need, and this equates to the number of cars heading down .........
Im half tempted just to book half as many camping pitches as tickets, assuming 2 to each car but this means those who are looking to save a bit of money by tripling or even going 4's up are going to lose out.
Can you let me know how you plan to get down there below, and Ill get the bookings sorted on Monday
Myself and Jules in mine, Scolding and Taylors in his...
Either fast cars or efficiant German ones, we havent decided yet...

I want to drive across in my 13, whether Stidi (if he's able to go) jumps in with me or someone else en route is up to them.

I may hitch a lift with Vez :)
Just finalising arrangements with the lads, will let you know asap mate
I'm going to finish making my car and then drive over on my lonesome... if it isn't fixed by then I could hitch hike I guess...
I wouldnt mind jumping in a car tbh, all i did this year was park up anyway
I'm going to be trying to do LeMans supercheap(tm) for 2011 I think.
I've got a prepaid eurotunnel crossing i didn't use last year and I was planning on taking the BMW as it'll be 35-40mpg for the journey and can fit 2-3 other people easily enough.
as much as I'd love to jump in a 200 (or have mine done) it's the extra £50's that are coming in handy at the moment.
As I've mentioned to Algie already, if I can get a lodger in the first couple of months of next year then plans will be slightly less frugal :D
I think ill be dieseling it up there
No point taking the s13 in my opinion
If I can wake him up I'll point Arry in this direction but I'm pretty sure it'll be Arry and me in 1 car with 1 tent.
Shit - you booking already doc? I need to work out with my mates not including Mr C as to whether they're actually coming or not.
If not it'll be MrC and I in one car taking one tent as per last year :)
Probably be on my lonesome in the pug. You up for Wednesday again this year Pimpy? :D

Train!
Everytime we went on a ferry the ramp onto it looked pretty steep
True ^^ but if you ask nicely they`ll help you with lowering the ramp and stuff.
I never had any issues while collecting cars, except once, but that was due a storm while boarding :wack:

Cool, train it is, I prefer to get the train anyway,
mainly cos it's quicker plus I've never been on it before.
