Satellite navigation

I'm thinking about fitting one of these car radios with built in SatNav. Not bothered about not having a map as the only thing I find useful with SatNav is the voice directions.

Does anyone have any experience of these units and how they might compare the the real deal?

I use Navman which is the iPAQ powered variety - and I agree that the voice instructions are invaluable. If this was built into a head unit it would be ideal - but then I use the iPAQ for diary appointments and contact numbers.:)

Aftermarket stuffs quite good now actually. Ive not really seen the older voice only as the pop-out maps seem to come as standard, but thats no way the final word, have look round the web Im sure they do them.

Always wanted to fit one, but as usual theres always oney better spent elsewhere just keeping the car running (but prolly not on yours as its nice and newer ;) )
